The M100S+ is to the M100+ as the Cyber 845 is to the Cyber 845. The M100+ has quite astonishing power and authority for a relatively small integrated amplifier. It has few compromises and will play all sorts of music at surprising volumes, astonishingly well. But for people who wish even more finesse, smoothness and sonic integration, then the M100S+ is perfect. It has surprising power for its modest output, with a better integrated bass, but with less authority and extension than the M100+. If you listen to all sorts of music, including rock, fairly loud, the M100+ is the perfect compromise. If you are a fan of jazz, orchestral, light classical, folk and vocals, then the M100S+ is perfect.
