This is a spectacular amplifier for anywhere the price. Superior
in performance to integrated and separate pre power amplifiers
costing many times its cost. It has basically the same power amplifier
as the excellent C1 and C2, but with slightly less power. It uses
a tube preamp section for a smoother, more relaxing and lifelike
performance. Lightning fast with surprising transparency and detail
and extraordinary finish and build quality. It projects a huge,
deep soundstage. It is ideal for pairing with a C3 for a
5.1 system and also with a C2 for a 7.1 system. That way your
CD player plugs into the a120 and is not degraded by the mediocre
performance of your Audio Visual Amplifier.
The remote control changes the inputs as well as the volume. The
volume and input selected is shown on the front display.
